Directly in HEX mode, they look the same,
but v4.3.3 is UpperCase, v4.5.0 is LowerCase.
Switch to HEX mode from text, they are different.

This problem occurs in both v4.3.3 and v4.5.0
If I open the file directly in HEX mode, they just can't go back.
If I switch to HEX mode from text,
v4.3.3 can't go back.
v4.5.0 will crash if it contains non-English characters.

Is there any chance to make read-only files names look different on the tabs? Different text color, italic style or etc. I'm not blind, but sidewise vision does not work for me now... =(

No, I can't draw with different color and I can't use different font. Font is common for all tabs.

You can suggest different icon look, e.g. different icon background to be more significant.

Typing in "s", for example, does show all tags that begin with s. And no other ones. But if I can't remember what the tag is...

In a php file freshely saved (smiling smiley),
when you type a slash (/) (it seems that quite à lot of other keys) it messes up the statusbar espacially the
Unsaved Changes and sometimes the Selection Type...

See sample here image

But thanks for the good work

Keep on rollin'

No, not 1000. Just like the non-beta. I do modify the file and add some items, like the proper code for bullets, em dashes, true quotes, etc. that I can't always remember. I also plan to remove the common ones. I might even add in some CSS 2.1 properties. But this could all add up to more than 101. In the case of php/MySQL, I can hardly remember anything, so I need all the help I can get! Great job, by the way!

Hi,

Here is a bug that I mentioned earlier and still exists (hence the repost):

<?php
$name = "John";
?>
<b>Hello <?= $name ?>,</b><br />

If you double-click $name in the first instance, it'll include the $ in the selection, if you try the same for the second instance (where you echo the name) it doesn't include the $.

In Perl it never includes the $ (or % or @) when double-clicking variable names.

I've noticed if I open more than 9 files, the file tab stops incrementing the number of files opened

<filename> (9) <- on the file tab.

Thanks,

Tabs 1..9 are accesible with Alt+Number shortcuts. More numbers has no sence
