You need display it or edit it ?
I am not responsible for file handling, this is bussines of used editor component. If you are not satisfied with PSPad, you can use UE with better file handling.

Yes, in the highlighter settings. you can disable the highlighter in this list but you can't remove it completely form this list without editing pspad.ini. Wo if you want to add another user defined highlighter that is named equally like one of those which are already on the list the name will show up twice.

If you add 2 user highlighters with the same name, yes, you will have 2 same highlighters. But I mean its an user problem not a PSPad problem.

If you want to remove it from list, click on the highlighter name, go to the second tab and click on the forst empy line in the user highlighter list.
If you want to replace user highlighter with another one, click on the highlighter name and on the second tab choose highlighter you want.
