Hi. It seems like the bad ruler alignment (in my case) relates to Win98SE - it works as usual on Win2k.

great tool... but there are some things I that should be changed or added.
Could you please add an option for editing and removing of highlighters. I added the
highlighter for makefiles but there were some file-endings missing. So I had to edit the
definitionfile. Obviously thats not a problem. But pspad copies the definition into its ini-file. so you have to remove it first in the pspad.ini. but then pspad adds the current settings to the file while ending pspad. so at the next start the highlighter is there again with the old filemask...
so you have to edit pspad.ini with another editor to change it permanently. thats a bit irritating.
It would be best to include an editing/remove-option to pspad. Also you should load the definitions from the ini-files and not store them to pspad.ini.
I haven't tested it yet with this version but the previous one chrashed when I wanted to print without installing a printer before. (I know this sounds a bit stupid but I forgot to install the printer and hadn't thought about it... so it crashed). This should be fixed if it's not already done...
but go on with your great tool. i really like it as a alround-editor.

menu Settings / Highlighter settings if internal highlighter
menu settings / User highlighter if user defined highlighter

Print preview crashed in previous version.

I'll be great if pspad will unindent like tyzio said.
I saw that if "Completion of chars ( { [ <..." is enabled it works fine on 'enter' key pressed after '{', but it will be good if it will unindent without that option enabled.
Thank you. I really apreciate your work.

Just checking if the double-click to select in PHP and Perl bugs (as reported with previous beta) are still on your radar...

Hi all,
When I edit one of my file with pspad,
pspad opens 2 tabs.
the file path is
c:\program files\folder\file.ext
PSPAD open a tab
c:\program
and another tab
files\folder\file.ext
This functionnality works fine in previous release (not beta).
Maybe something has changed in this area with this new beta 2153
Best regards
pierre

Hi,
i am using the newest beta 4.50 2.1.5.3
when i open a binary like an exe-file, it would be correctly displayed.
but when i open a text-file type "test" and change the view to hex i see something like this:
0000 0001 0002 0003 0004 0005 0006 0007 1 2 3 4 5 6 7
0 FFFE 7400 6500 7300 7400 t e s t
but i am expecting this:
00 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 1 2 3 4 5 6 7
0 74 65 73 74 t e s t
what the reason for this view ? (a bug ?)
Ciao,
Corwin
