pspad453inst_en.exe
Win2000 Sp4
Installation of PSPad 4.5.3 not possible. Installation program stops with MessageBox: "You must be logged in as an administrator when installing this program."

In such a case you can download the CAB archive and unpack it to the desired location (however, one must unpack it preserving the directory structure with subdirectories!). PSPad itself doesn't require the installation; the shortcuts could be created manually.

Thanks, I know and use the workaround with the cab Archive. But Admin rights are not necessary for PSPad install. Besides, the context menu entries are not available with a 'cab installation'.

Admin rights are necessary, if you want to register PSPad shell extension.
