#1 MultyUser environment

Posted by: DenTNT | Date: 2016-03-25 14:30 | IP: IP Logged

I set
Setting -> Program Settings... -> System integration -> Multy User Environment
Then I try to create and save User highlighter settings:
Settings -> User Highlighter...
I cannot do it and get the error:
Error saving file "C:\Program files (x86)\PSPad editor\Syntax\Text_usr.ini"
I have started PSPad under user account (not admin), so I cannot save to the Program files directory.
How I can save setting to the USER home folder?

There is yet problem, cause I didn't finished user path setting definition yet.

When you start program, it has no rights to write into program files. You need to start program as admin to elevate rights.
Another possibility is put PSPad outside of program files (PSPad doesn't need to be installed) - you can run it from anywhere (flash disk, any folder, network drive).
I suggest you second possibility. And in this case swith off multiuser environment and all PSPad files will be stored in this folder.
