#1 cursor position after paste

Posted by: Gorlash | Date: 2015-10-28 18:36 | IP: IP Logged

I'm using PsPad build 2703. When I paste something into a file, I want cursor to remain at starting position. I'm pretty sure it was doing this up until recently, but now after paste, cursor is placed at end of pasted block.

I've looked around the various options, but don't see any that are related to this; where is it hiding?? I think I asked about this a year or so back, but can't find it in my searches now...

Use Shift+Ctrl+V - Paste with keep cursor position

hmmm... is there a way to swap these two key assignments?? I'm not going to remember shift-ctrl-v from week to week, I'd much prefer that Ctrl-V just work as expected.

Did this change recently?? I could *swear* Ctrl-V was working for me in the past; I've been using pspad for a long time now...

No, there was no change.
You can remap shortcuts as you need.
Program settings / KeyMap - exchange shortcuts in the part Edit
aPaste - Shift+Ctrl+V
aPasteNoMove - Ctrl+V

I know what happened... when you released the full distribution recently, I just installed that over my existing version... I probably over-wrote a config file from the past...
