With my FTP Server the FTP-Windows
shows Sysmlinks (Files with l Attribute)
with the Folder-Icon.
This is confusing.
Can you spend it a own icon please.

The Items are also allways sorted at top of Listing (as Folders)
A click on those sysmlinks does nothing.

4.5.9(2529)
I think pspad shut open the Link the same as a normal file.
But at time of File-Save the Orginalfile must not be recreated!
Pspad shut only write&truncate the exising Link ( the Server Filsystem then updates the Linked Target)
Otherwise pspad would creats a normal File with the same name as the link bevor
If this is not possible via ftp, then the item shout be grayed out,
but sorted as normal file.
My Usage of those Links are:
---------------
config.php (as symlink to --> lib\config_small.php)
lib\config_small.php
lig\config_big.php
--------------
the i can simply switch the config with redirecing the link

Top fix it I need your collaboration:
Connect to your FTP server into folder what is wrongly detected
Open FTP log window (Ctrl+L)
Press LIST button on the left side of the log (the first one)
send me RAW list of files
Please send the list in text file as attachment. I need it untouched by mail client.
Each FTP server has own format of file list. Without your file list, I am not able to modify parser in PSPad. Important is that list will contains at least one link, file and folder.

There is ten's of patterns for file list parsing. I can spend long time to look for the correct one or use your list to find it quickly.
I don't know yet, if your FTP server uses MLSD command (normalized file list) or old file list. I will see it from your file list.
