I'm aware code folding pops up as a request every so often, but I couldn't find any mention of this version of synedit (only of the 1.0.3 version that seemed to have stalled).
Would it be possible to use the forked version of synedit from the freepascal guys?
It appears to be actively maintained and (from downloading their IDE and playing for a bit) the modifications appear to work well.
I'm not a delphi programmer though, so I've no idea whether the changes they've made to make it integrate with their IDE will have broken it for use elsewhere, or indeed if it would only run under freepascal.

I will look at it.
Synedit used in PSpad is little modified. I need test their Synedit and apply my changes to it.

Can't ask any more than that, thanks!
They have multiline regexp in their search/replace, too (and in their in-file search) although whether that's a synedit modification or something they've written externally I don't know.

I looked at it (shot time only), but they have own modified version for FreePascal only. It isn't usable for Delphi.
But I can look at specific parts as search e.t.c.

OK, thanks for taking the time. I've no idea about freepascal vs delphi, I'd read that one of their goals was compatibility so I had hoped that it would be useful for PSPad.
I never use code folding so it doesn't bother me anyway

At first, thanks a lot for this great software!
Nevertheless I'm missing the "code folding" feature. There are some news about it?!
I'm also came across this thread forum.pspad.com, which stops in 2016. There the possibility of a new editor engine (incl. code folding) is described. What's about this?
Thanks!

As I wrote before
First step is to have working PSPad. There are still some problems - hexedit, 64b version
After it I can move to another editor component
This one looks quite good:

Thanks for the info!
Do you have seen the comment in BCEdit'S readme?

This component is very buggy and should not be used. Please use "SynEdit" instead of it. If there is somebody who wants to overtake this project, please write an issue and ask about it.
