Re: Installer / Toolbars / Other software installation

Hi,

I just installed the latest developer release of PSPad using the installer EXE, and the download page had a statement about additional software that could be installed I didn't opt out of them during the installation process.

I went through the installation wizard carefully watching every page for any mention of toolbars or other third-party software so I could uncheck those boxes. I never saw any checkboxes or even any mention of such third-party software during the entire installation wizard.

Did I miss something regarding the options? Was any third-party software installed? What should I look for on my system that might have been installed?

From where did you downloaded developer release? I didnt publish it as installer, but as zipped files eithout installer only.
I guess you downloaded it from any software server what forced you to use their installer.

Sorry, it was regular release -- not developer.

I went here:

And clicked the installer link which took me to fosshub.com here:
www.fosshub.com

OK, this is a regular version, not a developer build.
If you don't see any screen with offer, it means there is no offer available for your location. Offer is dynamically created. "Advetizers" what offers their software has interest of some geo locations. If offered software is already installed, it isn't offered.

If you didn't see any offer, it means nothing was available for you and nothing was installed on your computer.

There is really no hidden installation.
