Re: msvcr71.dll error out of the box on a new Windows 8.1 PC

I had an issue with msvcr71.dll on a new Windows 8.1 machine. I found the file on one of my Windows 7 machines and copied it over to the pspad directory (in the same directory as PSPad.exe application). Problem has been resolved. No more error messages. I have to say, you really should get any of these file(s) from a trusted source (if you require it). In my case, this ddl was part of (Popular MMO video game name that is banned on this site). Unfortunately, Microsoft doesn't seem to have a direct download to this file. Again, beware of dll download sites.

All OpenSSL files in PSPad folder comes from original Open SSL distribution.
