My cursor disappears 90% of the time in PSPad, making it difficult to work with,
any clues please?

I am sorry, but I don't know nothing from your report.
I don't know what PSPad version do you use, what operating system do you use...
I have no report from other users. Please provide more detailed information.

Again that is not of much help. Please explain exactly what you are doing when the cursor disappears. If it is the bug from the link I posted above please say so.

Thanks,
The cursor disappears constantly, with no obvious trigger.
I now use the suggestion of pressing insert twice and the cursor appears, but would prefer that it not disappear.
I appreciate your help
Thanks

There is nothing to describe. This is an old bug (over 2 years old) and completely random with no sure way to reproduce it, which is also the reason why it's still not fixed.

khagaroth please click the link in the third post and tell me if that is what you are getting.

Yes, I can reproduce it on both W7 and 8.1. Hitting 2x insert, or minimizing and restoring the window fixes it.
PS
For anyone else testing what's linked in post 3 - you really have to click in the preview window to reproduce it properly.
