Problem in sysntax file

Jan et al,
I have vbscript syntax file. Most things are fine, however I have one issue. If I have say "\" & srVariable & "more text" the slash escapes the " and everything after PSPad sees as text. How can I set the syntax file so it ignores \ in text areas?

I think I found my own answer - uncheck "Escaped strings".
