And you have made sure you are using the right username and password? Test with Filezilla or some such.

It means if you will use another FTP client, you can connect?
What you sent, is communication log with FTP server. You sent user name and password to server, server compare data with stored user name and password and found they don't match.
The result is: Login authentication failed.
Cause the user was accepted correctly, there is problem with password.
