save file with filename from the first text line.

#1 save file with filename from the first text line.

Hi,

In the past it was possible to generate a new file, enter text and
when trying to save this file PSPAD has proposed a filename by using
the first text line with ending txt.

I've got a new PC and installed the latest PSPad version, and
it now always uses "new1.txt" as proposed filename.

Is there a chance to get the old behavior back?

Thanks.

Gruss
Bernd.

just identified, that 4.5.6 has my wanted behavior.
In 4.5.7 this behavior is lost (auto genreate filename from first line of text).
Ich there any chance to get the 4.5.6 behavior back?

Did this not make it into 4.5.8 (2457)? I (still) can't make it work either.

Sorry to ressurect an ancient thread. I'm running 4.5.8 (2462) and this still does not appear to be working. Am I missing a setting somehwere?
