Brackets are symbols
Go to menu Settings / Highlighter settings / HTML
Change color for symbols.

Are we talking about PHP highlighter or HTML multihighlighter?

In case of HTML multihighlighter, the embeded script color settings is in the program settings / Multihighlighter

Thanks! That produced the result I wanted for the <? .. ?> (except I can't make them bold), and then I had to set the Identifier in Highlighters Settings for the php.

I'm trying to make all the highlighting be the same as in my old editor because that's what I'm used to. smiling smiley
