carbonize:Restricted is normal and admin is when used as admin yes? If so I'm wondering if it's more an issue with not having access to that folder when not running as admin.
Hmm, you mean the PSPad/Script folder? Didn't changed anything on access rules of folders.
All my portable programs are on a separate partition, together with all my other own files.
D:\Eigene Dateien\Programme\...
Maybe I can overcome this with a classic installation (multi user) of PSPad?

No as I'm running it from a backup partition and it's working fine.
When running under normal is the Integrated Scripting Support ticked as running as admin may make it use different settings.

In PSPad settings WSH is checked.
The Windows settings? I will check the settings in IE under 'Extras - Internetoptions - Security' and compare them.

I meant when running PSPad under admin there is a possibility it is using different settings so when running it as a normal user check if scripting is enabled in PSPad then as well.

I'm running PSPad portable, so there's only one ini inside program folder. Also WSH scripting is enabled under both (admin and normal) user.

Could it be the antivirus preventing it?

I use Avast (free version). Tested it (stop it temporary), but no success.

Make a new account on the computer, set it as a regular user and see if it has access or not to scripting.
