Simple advice: DON'T INSTALL PSPAD AS PORTABLE INTO PROGRAM FILES FOLDER

Hi,
1. I just uninstalled PSPad (I was using pspad on my old Dell laptop, but I really need to use it in this new one).
2. I verified "pspad editor" folder was empty after uninstalling.
3. I downloaded installer "pspad457inst_en".
4. I ran installer, ensuring "Portable application" option was UNCHECKED during setup.
5. I opened pspad, opened a connection to my server, but problem remains: I see not content at all. The square is green indicating im connected, but no contents are shown.

In which folder did you install PSPad?

If you are connected, but you don't see content of the folder, there can be problem with your "exotic" FTP server.
Go to FTP connection settings and set:
[x] Compatible mode
[x] Passive Mode
[ ] Show hidden files
Save and try reconect to your FTP server.
If no content will shown, connect, display FTP log window (Ctrl+L) and press LIST button in the Log window.
Paste content into new text file and send it as attachment to PSPad support mail.
