Previous session loading from project files

#1 Previous session loading from project files

Hi,

I re-installed Windows - now when I run a project file (without PSP open) the previous session is restored even though I starrted PSP from a specific project. I assume there is an 'always restore previous session' option somewhere but I've looked all over. Pleae help smiling smiley

Open project means open all open files from the time you close the project.

Close all files you don't need to open and save project
Or in the project settings choose Don't open any file after project load

Hi,

I probably could have worded that better tongue sticking out smiley. Let's say I have two .ppr files 1.ppr and 2.ppr. If I have 1.ppr open when I close pspad and then double click the 2.ppr icon, 1.ppr is opening.

I have the same issue. I'm guessing there's an option I'm missing, but have checked the FAQ and no luck.

Here's an example...
Open Test.asc
Exit PSPad (without closing Test.asc first)
Double click Foo.asc in Windows explorer
=> PSPad launches but only opens Test.asc.

PSPad is my default program for .asc files.

I'm not using any projects or anything special, just using it to view large ascii files.

Thanks, Will.

Open regedit and navigate to key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Applications\PSPad.exe\shell\open\Command
change default value and add after PSpad path after space "%1"

Or download current PSpad installer and reinstall PSPad. It will correct this issue
