Double clicking a file, Right clicking and choosing Send to and Open with always worked fine in XP 32 bit
Just got a new Win 7 64 bit computer
Installed PS Pad (4.5.6 - 2427) and told it to register .txt file during the install
I checked in the Control panel / Associate file types with programs and .txt is set to open with PS Pad.
Double clicking on a .txt file opens a new1.txt file, not the .txt file I am trying to open
Right clicking on a .txt file and choosing "Open with PS Pad" does the same thing, it opens a new1.txt file
Right clicking and choosing "Send To PS Pad" opens the .txt file correctly
Really would like to get the double click thing working if possible.
Thanks for any help

Download 4.5.7 from PSPad developer forum, replace PSPad.exe and reregister PSPad (program settings / system, Program settings / File association)

Program settings / System integration
uncheck integration to Explorer, Apply
check integration to Explorer, choose DLL library, OK
