Posted by: caner | Date: 12/05/2011 15:02 | IP: IP Logged

I have a request. I need expand/collapse feature for the codes, like this:
prntscr.com
prntscr.com

Is this possible?

Thank you.

I'm not even sure what it is you want but if yo umean code folding then the editor component PSPad uses does not support it.

Yes I mean code folding like that: prntscr.com

I think it's a required feature for an editor.

Code folding is a really great feature for sloppy/lazy coders, but it is clearly not a required feature as PSPad users keep using and extending PSPad.

Welcome to the group, but please use the forum's search feature before posting -- there is no shortage of dialog/answers on this topic posted over many, many years:
forum.pspad.com
forum.pspad.com
etc. etc.

Thank you.

I'm not a lazy coder. I think you are a big PsPad fan, I understand this. But please look other "great" editors, many of these already have this feature.

I already try search but I didn't know the name of this feature (folding). I'm a PsPad user and my goal is make a suggestion only, it's all.

Lazy coder,

First, use the forum search feature, otherwise use another "favorite" editor.

Cheers,

Whoa,
sorry to butt in, but I find the tone of voice a bit rough in here, if not to say: rude.

Ok, maybe caner should have left the issue alone after the first clear "No", and let Jan continue to work.

But I guess he cares about this software, was perplexed about a missing feature that seems commonplace among editors.

Is it really necessary to tell him to shut up or f*** off?

Dear Daemon,

Do you have a perception problem? I said "I already try search but I didn't know the name of this feature (folding)".

Who are you? Author of this program? I hope not, because you are a repellent person.
