For me it is \PSPad\Links.INI ; if you use multiuser settings it will be probably somewhere in user profile folder.

Right click in the "Heart Tab" and select New Link

New PSPad version has possibility to backup/restore whole PSpad settings into one file. You can find it in program settings / Backup

I have a problem saving links in favorite tab, as well as program settings.
After creating a new link, when I close PSPad, i receive an error message: Error saving file: "C\:Program Files (x86\PsPAd Editor\Links.ini)"
In fact, there is no links.ini in that folder. So I created an empty one with that name, but the problem was not solved.
As it seems to be a Windows 7 permission problem, I tried to change PSPad Program Settings --> System Integration to Multi User Environment. But this setting is not saved as well.
Does anyone have the same problem?
PSPad 2.5.6 (2427) - Windows 7 64 bits - Brazilian Portuguese locale

I think to have the same problem (PSPad 4.5.6 (2427) - Windows 7 64 bits - Italian)
I found in the system register the following string :
Document1 REG_SZ C:\Users\aiutopc\AppData\Roaming\Links.INI
the same with document2, 3 and 4 and the ini files AutoCorr.TXT, Variable.INI and Recent.INI
I edited them with the portable path I need (a pendrive I usually use as personal data memory) but with no results.
I miss all favorites because Pspad writes again the same (empty) files in the same folder (such as C:\Users\aiutopc\AppData\Roaming\...)
How to do ?

Trivia: (correct me if I am wrong)
If you are running PSPad from pen drive, you MUST NOT have setSettings > System Integration > Multi User Environment
. Otherwise you will save setting in local computer's appdata -> lose them
If you are running PSPad under win 7 from Program Files as a regular user (not elevated privileges 'admin'), ie you have default installation, you MUST have setSettings > System Integration > Multi User Environment
. Otherwise PSPad will try to save its setting next to executable (Program files) what is forbidden under such circumstances.
Look into \PSPad\PSPad_MU.ini to ensure that MultiUser= pref is really set accordingly.

P.s. I setup with my path the backup/restore settings in program settings / Backup too (folder for file backup), but it doesn't work.
It rewrites the path C:\Users\aiutopc\AppData\Roaming\...
