pspaddy:I definately second this too!I have been using EditPad Pro for about 1,5 years before I made the jump to PSPad, and although I think PSPad is the better editor, I really miss EditPad Pro's highlight function.
See a screenshot here:
www.regular-expressions.info(The screenshots shows highlights for a regex, but if you'd type "$_GET" it would hightlight all occurances of "$_GET")
Incoporate this style of highlighting into PSPad, and I'll be just about ready to MARRY this editor!!
I am in complete agreement, that this feature in EditPad Pro is excellent, esp where regex is used. It is much easier to see instantly the hits/errors you have made, in realtime and quickly adjust your search.

After more than a half year ... are there any news about the implementation of this feature?

That would be really a killer.

This would be a very nice feature -- however, from prior threads I think Jan has noted that it is not possible (or would otherwise "bog" down the system) due to the SynEdit component being used.
However, I wonder if anyone would find it useful to at least have an HTML page generated with line numbers and all found entries highlighted...
Jan, is it possible to hyperlink from an HTML file to a PSPad line number -- as with CTRL-G (enter line number)? If I could get a hyperlink handle, the cursor positioning would be easy.

Hi,
I am following up here the last 3 years this thread is existing.
I am looking for an alternative from Notepad++ and I really do like this feature.
So since this one is going on for 3 years has there been any progress in making it possible?
Anyone who codes loves this feature in Notepad++
(seeing where I defined something/where it shows up again, mark the current word while expecting it should be somewhere else (like a declared variable) and when it doesn't show up you know you have a typo).
This is one of 2 features keeping me from switching to PSPad: forum.pspad.com
Greetings,
Christian
