I'm trying to install PSPad silently.
First I recorded the settings to a file using the /SAVEINF option
Then I tryed to use the inf file I recorded a step before using /LOADINF.
Using the save and load inf functionality I don't get the Windows Explorer context menu to work for other users in a mulit user environment.
The settings "Create PSPad items in the Windows Explorer context menu" have not been saved to the inf file.
I don't know if that causes the problem
Is there a possibility to install PSPad silently in a multi user environment and provide the Windows Explorer context menu to all users that log on.
Thanks

The PSPad Installer know silent install too.
Run it with a /SILENT parameter

Yes, I know the /silent option, but that does not install the Explorer Extension for all users (only for the user that installs PSPad).

Ok. If you don't want to install Shell extension, use:
/SILENT /TASKS="multiuser,icons"
this will exclude the contextmenu task from the installation
if you want to install context menu for all users, use
/SILENT /TASKS="multiuser,icons,contextmenu"
or
/SILENT /MERGETASKS="contextmenu"
Rest of available command line options are in the InnoSetup installer help file under the Command line topic

The /SILENT /TASKS="multiuser,icons,contextmenu" option works. Some shortcuts on the the desktop however do not show the contextmenu of PSPad.
And there is another point to consider. The user must start PSPad once (from Start Menu) before the contextmenu works. Otherwise an error message appears.
Is there another installer option, that registers .txt files with PSPad globaly?

No, there is no installer option. This will be corrected in the next installer version.

There is a new PSPad version available. Does this version contain the "new installer version" that is capable to associate *.txt files with PSPad?
