Why is something as simple and doable in other editors, as it is to open html files in the browser from PSPad is difficult to find?
does anybody knows how?

Menu HTML is hard to find? First item HTML page preview
Look for another content in HTML menu.
As alternative you can assign any HTML browser as an external program in Highlighter settings / HTML

Yes, I think he means the "external program" button.

Just now it also costs me about 10 minutes to find out where the external program can be defined. Although some time ago I have defined my Firefox in there.

Maybe at least some hint in the mouse over text will be helpfull.

...

Or:

- Press F1 key while in PSPad.
- Search or lockup Index for 'external'
- scroll and read:

Open with Program

You can open active file in an external application. Programs are set in Highlighter settings individually for each environment.

Note: The first 3 defined applications are assigned the shortcut keys F9, Alt-F9 and Shift-F9 respectively.

It's not always as easy as like that, but for this issues it works.

Within those 10 minutes I've had the same idea winking smiley. But my search for external, control and F9 reports "no topics found".

Used the local help file from menu bar in pspad. My search within help file seems not to work.

Now Search for 'external' doesn't work for me either.
It seems I had used INDEX tab with 'external'.
