Hello Jan,
my 5.0.0 156 and 161 crashes while opening a file (already sent you the file).
After that some setting files were deleted.
I restored last modified files from a backup.
- PSCache.BIN
- PSPad.INI
- Recent.INI
- PSPad_MU.ini
Can you fix this? I mean that files will not get lost after a crash?

First I need to know what is reason of crash.
PSPad itself has no mechanism to delete config files. There must happen something wrong...
I lost content of PSPad.ini only.

Reason should be clear. I did send you the bad file today via email.
Yes, maybe only the pspad.ini gets lost. I restored the last modified files as I did not want to make a diff on all those files first.

Thank you. With 5.0.0 163 I now can open the bad file. If pspad.ini will not get destroyed I will see on next crash.
