#1 Default Syntax Highlighting

I work on a system that the files have no extension. I have created a user highlighter, and I have to select it each time I open a file. Is there a way to set a default highlighter that will engage on files with no extension?

If you want highlighter for files with no extension, you need to add mask into highlighter for files with no extension: *.

That mask works great. Thank you!

Is there a way to have a default highlighter if there is no mask defined?

example:
I have a file named 1234.TEST. The .TEST is not defines in nay highlighter mask, but I always want to open as a specific type.
The extension could be any text, so limiting to a single mask is not possible.

Hi,
I believe, you can add * as a general file mask to your needed default highlighter settings.
