In PSPad, it's possible to click anywhere on a blank line and start typing at that point. Microsoft Word has a similar feature that can be turned on called "Click and Type".
I find this behaviour disconcerting - I'd rather click on a blank line and find myself typing in column 1. Does anyone know if it's possible to change settings to do this.

Turn offSettings > Editor (part 1) > Scroll Past EOL and EOF.
